New Admission (2022-23)

Starting the new academic year in 2022, the Nagaland University has decided to introduce CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) in under-graduate degree programs in all the affiliated colleges. Students seeking admission in BA and B.COM Semester-1 are advised to select subjects meticulously while filling in the admission form.

Admission Form with a brief admission information brochure will be available at the college office after declaration of NBSE-HSSLC exam results.

Eligibility of the applicant for the intended course shall be determined based on the HSSLC marks and availablility of seats.

Adm. Form will be issued to eligible applicants only on payment of Rs.200/-

The applicant will have to take admission on the date mentioned in the admission form or will forfiet the claim.

Last five years questions now available for download

B.A and B.COM, both Honours and General, question papers of last five years on the courses offered in this institution are available for free download and can be accessed by visiting www.sdjaingirlsocollege.com under main menu item Student Service and submenu item Forms & Questions. It is still  'a-work-in-progress' and the missing questions are either not legible that is of poor print quality or not in store. One must locate the question and click on the year of the examination. Files are in 'pdf' format. For convenience and easy access, no login etc is required to view or download the questions or utility forms. This is an initiative undertaken by the College Library.

Induction 2019

Induction Meet was held today 22 May for the new admission batch of 2019 in the college premises. Students were welcomed by the Principal, Vice Principal and the Heads of various departments. The event was conducted by Miss Alotoli, Asst Prof in Pol-Science. Members of the Students Council enthusiastically supported in the formal initiation of their junior batch to the S. D. Jain Girls' College falily.

NAAC Peer Team visit on 22-23 March 2019

The NAAC Peer Team comprising of Chairperson Prof Om Prakash Rai, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Member Co-ordinator Dr. Kotresh M, Prof. Dept. of History and Archaeology, Tumkur University and Member Dr. Puspa Ranade, Principal, Shri Siddhivinayak Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Pune, Maharashtra, visited S. D.Jain Girls’ College on 22nd and 23rd March, 2019. On 22nd March, the team interacted with IQAC Coordinator, S.D.Jain Girls’ College, Dr. Sant Kr. Gupta, Principal Shri. K. C. Rout and Vice Principal Mr. N.R.Deka, followed by a series of interactions with HoD’s, general meeting with the faculty members, Students Body, Students, Alumni, Parents and Managing Committee of the College. After luncheon, the team inspected the infrastructural facilities. The day’s programme culminated in a cultural programme presented by the students.

Day-2, the 23rd March, commenced with an interaction with IQAC Members and different committees. The Best Practices adopted by the college were reviewed and necessary suggestions were imparted. Dr. Alemienla, Prof. SASARD, visited to the College as the Nagaland University representative. The Exit Meeting was held in the evening with a welcome speech by the Principal. The Chairperson of the NAAC Peer Team addressed the faculty and the students, appreciated the effort of the entire Staff and Management and suggested valuable measures to be adopted by the institution for further qualitative improvement. At the end, the Coordinator of IQAC pronounced the Vote of Thanks.

The NAAC Peer Team Visit to the college has been scheduled on 22 and 23 March 2019. Students, parents, alumni, and mebers of the teaching and non-teaching staff are informed to prepare accordingly to interact with the Team if asked for to do so.

Result and classes
Posted on: Nov 3 2018

Result of the current UG Semester-end Exams (Oct-Nov 2018) will be provisionally declared on 12 Nov, after obtaining due permission, and classes for the 2nd, 4th and 6th semester will start from 13 November 2018. Students must attend the classes even without clearing outstanding dues from the first day itself. Classroom, Section and Roll Number will remain the same. Last date for paying the first installment is 25 Nov.
