S. D. Jain Girls' College is located opposite the Jain Temple on the Jain Temple Road at the heart of the city of Dimapur. The existing building is just behind the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) office in the vicinity of the the Kalibari Temple. It is less than half a kilo metre from the Dhobinala Junction, even less distant from the Dimapur railway station, the New Market, Hongkong market and the Hazi Park market. NST Bus stop and the Golaghat Road Bus Stop are within walkable distance.
It is connected by road to the State capital Kohima, via, National Highway 29. Transportation facility is readily available near the college gate, and it is well connected by the Railways; Dimapur Railway Station is less than half-a-kilo-meter away. The college is located approximately 4 kilo-meters from the Dimapur Airport.
